Sabrina Porter

When I first started teaching in 2023, it easily became my whole life. On the verge of quitting half way through my first year of teaching, I knew something needed to change. So, in order to turn my brain off and not think about work at home, I turned to painting. I always loved arts and crafts growing up but had never seriously done painting. I started with water color and then moved on to oil shortly after. It completely changed my life! I felt like I could be a person again outside of teaching. 

A year after that I moved onto acrylic which has become my favorite medium! I spend my free time painting different landscapes around Michigan, the places I visit on my adventures, and family pets!
